Great news! The first phase of Mills Memorial was awarded Federal 9% Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) from The Connecticut Housing Finance Authority (CHFA)! Pennrose Properties, the Meriden Housing Authority, and the City of Meriden are partners on the project. The current public housing site will be redeveloped into a 75-unit mixed-income community, with ground level retail and a preschool, all within walking distance of Meriden’s new transit center.
